The metallic shimmers are definitely more pigmented than the mattes. These are great for on the go and they are good quality for being so cheap. I don't think it is super easy to create a semi-complex look with these, but a simpler look would be easy to achieve. Other than that I do like this product and I do think that it all depends on which one you get.

Specifically the 'natural matte' quad. It's now made it's way into my heart thanks to needing to hit free shipping. I honestly wasn't expecting much, at all, let alone for it to dupe one of few palettes I'll never live without. Shade for shade, it's an exact dupe for the 'naked basics' without the shimmer option of 'Venus' or the lighter yellow toned creme of 'foxy'.

The 'base' shade is slightly peachier than 'w.o.s' and 'crave' is a bit more an opaque black compared to the buildable black 'line'. Then, while they are a bit more powdery than UD's they're totally workable. They blend beautifully and do everything my 'naked basics' can do, minus the shimmer option.

Waterproof mascaras and eyeliners will prevent any black flaking of the two, as well as any creasing or melting of eyeliner, and that may be the key to keeping your skin looking unflawed! Tip 4: Find what works for YOU! Not every primer, foundation, concealer powder, etc.
